DEMI LOVATO ANNOUNCES SHE IS NON BINARY
Demitria Devone Lovato known as Demi Lovato, an American songwriter and actor who started out with appearances in children’s program like ‘barney and friends’ has announced that she is non binary. The actor who rose to prominence in the musical television film camp rock made the announce via video she made. Her statements are quoted below.
“Every day we wake up, we are given another opportunity and chance to be who we want and wish to be,”
“I’ve spent the majority of my life growing in front of all of you… you’ve seen the good, the bad, and everything in between. Not only has my life been a journey for myself, I was also living for those on the other side of the cameras.”
Not only has my life been a journey for myself, I was also living for those on the other side of the cameras. Today is a day I’m so happy to share more of my life with you all – I am proud to let you know that I identify as non-binary and will officially be changing my pronouns to they/them moving forward.
“This has come after a lot of healing and self-reflective work. I’m still learning and coming into myself, and I don’t claim to be an expert or a spokesperson.
“Sharing this with you now opens another level of vulnerability for me. I’m doing this for those out there that haven’t been able to share who they truly are with their loved ones.
“Please keep living in your truths and know I am sending so much love your way.”
Demi Lovato suffered a near fatal overdose issue in 2018 despite having sold 24million records in the United States and also having a Guinness world record. She talks about her vulnerability as a result of letting the cat out of the bag concerning her non binary status.
Non binary people do not identify as the gender they were assigned at birth, they do not identify with the male and female gender at all, so you may ask if Demi Lovato is pan sexual. Being Pan sexual is when one is not limited in choice with regard to biological sex, gender identity. She can no longer be identified as ‘She’ nor ‘he’ and the appropriate way of describing her henceforth is ‘they’, them. We wish Demi Lovato the best of being addressed as ‘they and them’
