Indonesian Plane Plunges Into Sea With All 189 Passengers

An Indonesian plane, Boeing 737 Max  8 carrying 189 passengers crashed into the sea in the early hours of today. The plane belonged to Lion Air, an Indonesian middle class airline. Lion Air Flight 610 took of at about 6:21 am this Monday morning and after about 13 minutes it plunged down 3000 ft into the sea, some people on a tug boat saw as the plane fell into the sea.

The plane took of from Jakarta and was headed for Pangkal Pinang. After take-off the pilot contacted the airport just few minutes into the flight and requested permission to return, it was granted but however, they the return flight was not made. As it is no one can really tell what caused the crash as the plane lost communication with the tower before the crash. The Boeing 737 Max 8 was almost new and had just about 800 flight hours on it, it also had been cleared by flight engineers for flight

There are already over 300 rescuers working overtime to rescue any survivors, although it has been speculated that no one could have survived the crash. Parts of the plane has been found and also body parts have been found, though no complete body has been found yet. Divers and rescue boats are working to find the black box and the plane fuselage. As it is no one can really tell what caused the crash as the plane lost communication with the tower before the crash.

The plane has two pilots, 6 crew members, 1 Italian passenger an the rest Indonesians. If no survivors are found, the this crash will be one of the worst crashes in Indonesia in recent times.
