Snoop Dogg Biography
Cordozar Calvin Brodas Jr Popularly known as Snoop Dogg was born on October 20,1971. Snoop Dogg is a musician, producer, actor, who became famous in the late 90s due to his debut album and problems with the police.
As a child, his mother called him snoopy which means “overly curious” in English for the expression of his eyes.
When he started recording, he took the nickname Snoop Doggy Dogg in honor of the famous cartoon character.
Snoop sang in a children’s church choir and played the piano.
During high school, he was a member of the Crips gang, shortly after graduation he entered the Polytechnic College (Long Beach Polytechnic High School) and was arrested for possession of cocaine,as a result of this, he spent six months in a prison called Wayside County Jail.
Dr. Dre met Snoop after listening to his demo tape given by his stepbrother Warren G.The chronic.
In 1993, Doggystyle’s debut album was the most excepted release, with over 1.5 million pre-orders received prior to release. The title track Gin & Juice from the album was not supposed to be a single, but in the end turned into a hip hop classic.

June 12, 1997 Snoop married his school friend Shante Taylor, has two sons and a daughter (Corde, Cordelle and Cori).
Shante tried her hands at designing t-shirts. The reviews were so good that it was decided to open their brand Co Co Ri.
She also became the manager of rapper The Lady of Rage and founded the label Boss Lady Entertainment.
In 1997, he took part in the Lollapalooza rock concert tour and left the Death Row Records label.
Several of his cousins have also become famous hip-hop artists: RBX, Nate Dogg, Lil ½ Dead and Daz Dillinger, as well as R&B artists Brandy and Ray J.
