The 6th edition of All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA) took place at the Eko Convention Centre of Eko Hotels And Suites on Saturday

Some Outstanding personalities were declared winners in 36 different stages of the awards ceremony. This stages includes the Continental Regional.

Asides others, The AFRIMA legendary awards which serves as a way of honoring certain iconic and impactful individuals in their field of influence were also announced.

This special category is however not like the other categories basically because the winners are not determined by votes as it is not open to public voting but the winners are usually determined by the African Union International Committee of AFRIMA,and the AFRIMA Jury. The winners of this year’s Legendary Awards are Congolese Awilo Longomba and Nigerian iconic 2baba.
